This Privacy Policy applies to the Buzzr mobile application and web/PWA platform (referred to as the "Application" or "Service"), developed and operated by Adz Meta Solution Private Limited (referred to as "we," "us," "our," or the "Service Provider"), and offered as a Freemium service. The Application is provided for use "AS IS."

This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the choices you have — including specific disclosures required for our integrations with Google APIs (YouTube) and Meta Platforms (Facebook/Instagram).

1. Information We Collect

When you download and use the Application, we may collect the following categories of information:

1.1 Device & Usage Information

  • Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • Your device's operating system and type
  • Pages/screens you visit within the Application, including date, time, and duration
  • Total time spent on the Application
  • Your device's approximate location

1.2 Personally Identifiable Information (PII)

To create and operate your account, we may request:

  • Name
  • Age
  • Email address
  • Mobile number
  • Gender
  • Location
  • Creator/brand category
  • Brand-related information

1.3 Third-Party Platform Data (Google & Meta)

If you choose to connect a social account, we collect additional data directly from that platform's API, only after you explicitly grant consent through that platform's official OAuth authorization screen. See Sections 4 and 5 below for exactly what is collected from each platform and why.

2. Use of Location Data

Location data is collected and used for the following purposes:

  • Geolocation Services — to offer personalized content, relevant suggestions, and location-based features.
  • Analytics & Improvements — aggregated and anonymized data is analyzed to understand user behavior, detect trends, and improve performance.
  • Third-Party Services — anonymized location data may be periodically shared with external analytics services to help improve the Application.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Create, maintain, and secure your account
  • Verify ownership of connected social media channels/accounts
  • Match creators with relevant brand collaborations and opportunities
  • Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
  • Send updates, notifications, or marketing communications (you may opt out at any time — see Section 9)
  • Analyze and improve Application performance and features
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Google User Data (YouTube Integration)

Buzzr allows you to connect your YouTube channel to verify that you own it. This section fulfils the disclosure requirements of the Google API Services User Data Policy.

4.1 What we access

When you choose to connect your YouTube channel, and only after you approve Google's OAuth consent screen, we request the following scope:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly (read-only)

Using this scope, we retrieve and store:

  • YouTube Channel ID
  • Channel name
  • Channel thumbnail/logo
  • Subscriber count
  • Video count

4.2 What we do NOT access

We do not request or store your Google account email address through this integration. We do not upload, edit, delete, comment on, or otherwise manage your YouTube channel or its content in any way. We request no scope broader than what is listed above.

4.3 Why we access it

This data is used solely to:

  1. Verify that the connecting user genuinely owns the YouTube channel (a successful, authenticated API response using mine=true is itself the proof of ownership), and
  2. Display basic public channel statistics (name, logo, subscriber count, video count) within your Buzzr profile.

4.4 Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, share, transfer, or disclose Google user data obtained through this integration to any third party, except:

  • Where required by law (e.g., subpoena, court order, or government request), or
  • To protect our rights, investigate fraud, or respond to a legitimate legal claim.

4.5 Data Protection

Google user data is:

  • Transmitted exclusively over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections
  • Stored in encrypted form on access-restricted servers
  • Accessible only to authorized personnel and systems required to operate the verification feature
  • Retained only for as long as your YouTube channel remains connected to your Buzzr account

4.6 Deletion

You may disconnect your YouTube channel at any time from within the Application. Doing so permanently deletes the associated Google user data from our systems within 7 days.

4.7 Limited Use Compliance

Buzzr's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Meta Platform Data (Facebook & Instagram Integration)

Buzzr allows you to connect your Facebook and/or Instagram account to verify ownership and display basic public profile/creator statistics. This section fulfils disclosure requirements under the Meta Platform Terms and Meta Developer Policies.

5.1 What we access

Only after you approve Meta's official OAuth/Login consent screen, we may request the following, depending on the permissions you grant:

  • Instagram username and account ID
  • Basic public profile information (name, profile picture)
  • Public account/creator metrics (e.g., follower count), where the connected account is an Instagram Business or Creator account

5.2 What we do NOT access

We do not post, publish, edit, or delete content on your behalf. We do not access private messages. We request no permission beyond what is necessary to verify account ownership and display public profile statistics.

5.3 Why we access it

This data is used solely to:

  1. Verify that the connecting user genuinely owns the Instagram/Facebook account, and
  2. Display basic public profile/creator statistics within your Buzzr profile for brand-collaboration matching purposes.

5.4 Data Sharing

We do not sell or share Meta user data with third parties for advertising purposes. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be shown to prospective brand partners strictly for collaboration-matching purposes within the Application, and never in a way that discloses private account information.

5.5 Data Protection & Deletion

Meta user data is protected using the same safeguards described in Section 4.5, and is deleted upon disconnection, or via our Data Deletion page, which provides instructions for requesting removal of data obtained through Facebook Login, consistent with Meta's data deletion callback requirements.

6. Other Third-Party Services

The Application incorporates the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Facebook / Meta Platform
  • Sentry

Only aggregated, anonymized information (not the Google/Meta user data described in Sections 4–5) is shared with these services to support crash reporting, analytics, and Application improvement.

7. Data Retention

We retain user-provided data for as long as you maintain an active account and for a reasonable period afterward for legal, security, or operational purposes. Data obtained via Google or Meta integrations is retained only as described in Sections 4.6 and 5.5.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for a connected account (Google/Meta) at any time
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12.

9. Opt-Out Rights

To stop the Application from collecting device/usage data, you may uninstall it using your device's standard uninstallation method or via the app store. To disconnect a Google or Meta account specifically, use the in-app "Disconnect" option at any time — this does not require uninstalling the app.

10. Children's Privacy

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under this age. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has shared personal data with us should contact us using the details in Section 12.

11. Security

We employ physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls restricting data access to authorized personnel only. Data obtained via Google and Meta integrations receives the additional specific protections described in Sections 4.5 and 5.5.

13. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the updated policy.

By using the Application and/or connecting a Google or Meta account, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, including any future amendments.
